Friday Link Roundup
Friday, December 14th, 2007Here are some articles I found interesting around the web dealing with GLBT Issues. I thought this could make a fun Friday feature, and give you a few articles to make it through the weekend until I’m back on Monday morning!
* Darkside Rainbow - Next They’ll Be Calling Us Terrorists: A great look at a reaction by Catholicism to gay folk.
* Feministe - Fat and Queer: Call for Proposals: If I lived in New York City, I would want to attend this. Plus, the comments have an interesting question about the intersection between obesity and queerness as identity categories.
* Republic of T - Poisonous Parenting: This series is really interesting, although sometimes a little graphic. He certainly makes his point, though.
* Queercents - What will you teach your child about money?: I’m fascinated by money management blogs, and the one that’s tagged “We’re here, we’re queer, and we’re not going shopping without coupons” clearly appeals to me the most. This article is a good one about the relationship between values and finances.
Have a great weekend!
