The Diva Quiz: How Much of a Diva Are You?

by Adrien-Luc Sanders

This weekend I was thinking over the drama queen article and looking for something to do to avoid editing the last chapter of my novel, and couldn’t help wondering: you may know if you’re dating a drama queen - but boys, how do you know if you’re a Diva Royale? Just for fun (and ’cause I love making things), I whipped up a little ten-question quiz to help you find out, complete with images that you can post in your blog, MySpace, LiveJournal, or anywhere else that you want to paste HTML code.

Of course, it’s not just for the boys. Whether you’re an utterly fabulous fag, a lovely lesbian lass, beautifully bi, sensuously straight, transcendently trans, quixotically questioning, intoxicatingly intersexed (when did I start the alliteration again?): where do you rate on the Diva-Meter?

How did I score? Well, it’s no real surprise:

I am 60% Diva
Find out your Diva score on PrideandOpinions.com.

60% isn’t so bad. I freely admit that I’m a brat, though I’d like to think I’m just a teeny bit more sensible, and too laid-back to be so fashion-conscious. Maybe. Some days. Kinda. After coffee. And brioche.

Want to know how you stacked up against me? Take the quiz.

Results

How did you rate? Check your score against the results below.

0-10 points: 0% Diva
original photo by astroszko on sxc.huYou may be a lot of things, but a diva you are not. You’re the antithesis of high-maintenance, laid-back and relaxed and easy to get along with. Some people find you to be fun and accommodating. Some people find you to be a doormat. Either way, you’re about as drama-free as they come. You tend to dress in whatever fits; sometimes it may even match. Either you’re a fashion disaster or one of those lucky people who can look effortlessly sexy in whatever they wear, but frankly, you’re not worried about it anyway.

11-30 points: 20% Diva
original photo by artist007 on sxc.huYou can be a bit of a brat sometimes, but you tend to have a good sense of humor about it and can laugh off your worst and most demanding moments. Every once in a while you have a tantrum, but don’t we all? You’re well aware that your occasional need to be the center of attention is human and normal, and keep it playfully under control. You’ve got a quirky, clean look about you; style doesn’t matter so much as comfort, but you still look nice when you leave the house.

31-50 points: 40% Diva
original photo by anker1922 on sxc.huYou’re straddling the middle ground between the world of mere mortals and the ascension to Diva-hood; you have your style that works for you and looks absolutely fabulous on you even if you’re not on the edge of fashion, and you know it. Your behavior can be a bit bipolar; sometimes you’re self-effacing, good-humored and ready to go with the flow - and sometimes, if you don’t have your demands met within seconds, heads will roll. You do pick and choose your issues, though, and only put on your crown to officiate over the issues that matter most to you.

51-70 points: 60% Diva
original photo by cooljinny on sxc.huThe Diva Force is strong in you, young one, but you still have a ways to go before you climb that glitter-strewn trail to the top. Maybe your fashion sense is a bit off, maybe you’ve got a bit of a problem with putting the welfare of loved ones ahead of your own, maybe you even mind your own business now and then…though not often. Either way, despite your tendency to steal the spotlight, you’re not quite a diva…but you’re certainly somewhere nearby, moving in from stage right.

71-85 points: 80% Diva
original photo by troopers on sxc.huYou’re almost a full-blown diva, saved by a few moments of humility born either from distraction, insecurity, or random bouts of self-awareness. While you’ve got style, you’ve got grace, and you’ve got drama all over the place, every once in a while you do know how to wind down and relax. You’ll still give people a hard time for not following Your Majesty’s rules and tuning in to watch the All You, All the Time Channel, but you’re known to be just a tiny bit forgiving. Sometimes.

86+ points: 100% Diva
original photo by loleia on sxc.huYou define difficult, and you’re proud of it; you make Perez Hilton look tame, and that’s no small feat. Underneath your feet every sidewalk is a runway, every building a theatre, and you are the star performer, glitzed and glammed and at the top of your game. Things will go your way, or there’ll be hell to pay. You love your drama, you love your gossip, and you love even more when you’re the center of it - whether for your outrageous actions or your definitive flair and style. You go, girl. Boy. Whatever. Just strut it.

Speaking of diva’s… It was the eurovision songcontest last Saturday (yes, I watch that every year xD) and this is the song I think should have won:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Iq9cukhf2Pc

I honestly think it was the best song, I love it, and the act was funny as hell to boot :D

    Russia’s wasn’t bad either… ^_^

  4. Adrien-Luc Sanders Says:

…that boy is at once gorgeous and utterly ridiculous. I laughed so hard I nearly snorted diet cherry coke out my nose. His glam style’s great, but I’m so glad that’s only a stage look.

    Um.

    I hope.

  5. Sihaya Says:

I saw an interview with him before the contest, and he’s pretty normal ^_^ So yeah, it’s only a stage look.
